The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications are now open and may shut on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must satisfy the subsequent requirements:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who emanates from a house that has a combined gross household income that does not exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined home cash flow would not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and want not submit any proof of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent residents from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
Applicants are reminded to offer the right Identification Document numbers, names, and surname, as reflected in their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds people who are researching or intend to study in a general public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and nsfas status not to wait until the last day.
Learners do not have to wait for check here matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of 2025 nsfas application their application.
